I like the product. The only thing is that I wish they would come in “WIDE” sizes for larger men.I ordered these to wade creeks for better traction, have not fished in them yet but fit is like a glove with nice wide toe bed and very comfortable for minimalist style shoes. so far so goodI'm a minimalist shoe fan who prefers being barefoot whenever possible, but these are awesome to wear. They are extremely flexible and the hemp is already so soft. The heel seemed stiff at first, but after a few hours wearing them around the house barefoot, they are perfect. I'm a standard women's 7, and the 7 is a perfect fit. They are the best!I purchased these with the anticipation that they would be a minimalist design. They are close, but definitely have a small heel. I removed the insoles so that I could better feel the ground and they appear to be flatter, which is a huge plus for me. However, I am concerned about the stitching that I saw beneath the insole which attaches the mid/outsole to the upper. I am concerned that they shoes will not hold up, but I want to give this company a chance since they are one of the few that make hemp shoes.I like the idea of these shoes. They look similar to Birkenstocks. I don't know why, but my feet are killing me after only a few hours wearing these shoes. For me, not usable.I love the construction of these light weight shoes, but with that said I received the wrong shoe. It seems like this is a pretty normal thing judging by the other reviews. The picture of the item displays black stitching, black laces and a gum sole what I received was white stitching, white sole, white laces...the color displayed is not the color you'll receive either, it's lighter than the displayed shoe. Kind of feel like I was ripped off. They are comfy but this isn't what I wanted. VERY disappointed.I purchased these shoes with the understanding that the soles would be a gum brown color and that the laces would be black. I received the white sole and white laces. Other than that the shoes are nice and fit right. just received the wrong ones.These sure beat the cheapo water shoes that you get from the big box stores. My wife has the women's version and she brags about them.
