I purchased a few of these a few months back as a precaution. I was feeling ill one day so I first tested with the cheap antigen test kit and it came back negative. Times being what they are I decided to use this expensive test as a double check since I had symptoms and it indeed showed positive. I tested a few days later with the antigen and it showed positive. Job well done.If you need/want earlier results than the standard antigen, then this test is worth it. I have a family so to me, it was worth it to know for sure that I needed to isolate from them. If you live by yourself, you could probably just use the antigen. Just be aware that it may not give reliable negative for a few days.
