Besides,after the first ignition sound, closing the choke and repeatedly pulling on the start handle will suck in too much fuel and prevent the engine from starting. How to START a COLD engine: Push ahead the chain brake. Switch button on. Pull out the choke knob fully. Pull out the starter handle (Max 6 times ), stop pulling when you hear a big motor sound. Push back the choke knob fully (not half and very important ). Pull out the starter handle again ( Max 20 times ). Chainsaw starts. Pull back the chain brake, hold the throttle trigger and trigger lockout together. How to START a WARM engine: Above 1=>2=>6=>7=>8 (no need 3, 4, 5) Why CAN NOT START the chainsaw. You may miss the engine warm up if you don't push back the choke knob fully after pulling the starter handle max 6 times. Otherwise, the fuel oil will come out too much and flood the spark plug. Then you can't start the chainsaw. Why CAN NOT SPIN to cut. Make sure that the drive links of the saw chain fit correctly on the drive sprocket. Make sure that the saw chain is correctly engaged in the groove in the guide bar. Make sure the chain brake pushed back to the front handle. I followed instructions and it started ad ran like a champ so far.. not a too heavy for a 20in certainly not a one hand tree trimmer chain saw .. easily cut big limbs and took down a 12 inch stump and all .. it can do just fine using both handsCuts like a beastI just got it.Ill update a post once I get some use out of it. Long story short. I went to Walmart and bought their 18 inch saw. paid 220 for it. It cuts ok. The engine bogs a bit and I wasn't that impressed.. fast forward 3 weeks... I bought this supmix.. I know weird name. It started second pull and ran perfect. This thing is , so far, worth every penny and beyond. Holy..crazy it has so much power and whizzes through huge trees like butter.. its a beast!! I wish I had the patience and got this saw before the Walmart one. It puts my friends husky to shame.. really does.. wow!!! He made fun of the name but when it cut through the same log twice as fast as his husky he ordered 2 of these as backups..I bought this to replace a Mcculloch Pro-Mac 605. Head-to-head, fresh rebuild on the Mac, and this one brand new, with neither one broken in, this supmix destroys the mac. It probably weighs 30% less, and has smoother, higher power. Vibration is quite a bit higher on the Supmix, but I put a large part of that down to the low weight.Highly recommendstarted right up, the chain oiler was a pain to get to get oil moving and then it doesn't stop leaking so it's a mess to store. loud and powerfull but I haven't used it much.First run was great, smoked for about 1 minute after first start then stopped. Ran great and cut perfectly.I’ve used many chainsaws in my life, this one exceeded my expectations especially for the price. I’ve had it over a month now and cut 2 trees down. 25’ and a 30 footer. Cut firewood from the limbs with it. It’s a beast. Thanks for your product. Will recommend it.The chain saw was just what i wanted and needed.
